Item: Confederate One Hundred Dollar Note - 1862 - T-39

Design: The front shows a railway train with "straight" steam from the locomotive with a milkmaid to the left. Bears "Interest at Two Cents Per Day". The note is hand numbered and signed. The rear is blank.
Approximate size: 3-1/8 x 7-7/16 inches.
Condition: Good. The paper is soft with holes, creases, wrinkling and incomplete borders. There are a couple of old repairs primarily visible on the rear. The rear has three rectangular "Interest Paid To" stamps along with handwritten figures at one end and in the middle.
