Design: The front shows a railway train with "diffused" steam from the locomotive with a milkmaid to the left. Bears "Interest at Two Cents Per Day". The note is hand numbered and signed. The rear is blank.
Approximate size: 3-1/8 x 7-3/16 inches.
Condition: Good. The paper is crisp with tiny pin holes, creases and an incomplete border. The rear is hand signed and dated (see Comments section below). It is stamped "Interest paid to 1st Jan. 1865 at Tallahassee."

Comments: The rear signature is that of "John Boston", a Confederate Treasury agent at Savannah, Ga. The rear written date is the actual date of issue. This Confederate note will be delivered in a clear display sleeve and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War note or general relic collection.
