Item: Confederate Cavalry Cuff Button - "Script C"

Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. Very pleasing even dark green patina. Backmark is visible. There are no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Unknown.

Comments: The button was acquired directly from the family of the local Virginia digger and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
