Design: A raised right facing eagle on a pedestal, with wings pointing down, surrounded by 11 stars all on a lined field.
Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 19 mm.
Condition: Excellent, non-excavated, secure shank present. Beautiful toned golden-yellow patina. No pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.

Comments: These stunning Confederate staff officer coat buttons were manufactured in England and transported by blockade runners through the Union blockade. This example will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
