Confederate Sword Hanger

This excavated Confederate sword hanger is in excellent condition and was recovered in the area of Cumberland Church area, Cumberland County, VA. It is constructed of cast brass which now has a very pleasing brown patina. It measures approximately 2-7/8 inches in overall length. These devices hung from the leather sword belt. It has no cracks, breaks, bends or repairs.
