Date: December 2, 1862
Engravers: Keatinge & Ball, Columbia S.C.
Printer: Evans & Cogswell, Columbia S.C.
Design: The front shows the state Capitol at Columbia, S.C. with Secretary of State Robert M. T. Hunter to the lower right. The note is hand numbered and signed. The actual date of issue, "December 1863.", is stamped in red. The rear has ten medallions with the Roman numeral "X" in each.
Approximate size: 3 x 7 inches.
Condition: Good. The paper is crisp with creases, pinholes and minor discoloration. Borders are incomplete with one small corner fold.
