Confederate Twenty Dollar Note

This original Confederate twenty dollar note is in good condition and is dated February 17, 1861. This particular note, hand numbered "31791", was issued showing the Tennessee state capitol in the middle. Confederate Vice-President Alexander Stephens is pictured in the lower right hand corner. The rear, shows a large "TWENTY" with four circular medallions with "20" at the corners on blue ink. The paper is strong with good coloring but with creases and staining. There are a few tiny pinholes visible if held up to a light. This handsome note will come in a clear acid free envelope for preservation and display and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War note or general relic collection.. Ref. Criswell T-67.
