This display case of excavated Federal relics includes an eagle plate, two .58 caliber bullets and six buttons. All were recovered from Williamsburg, VA and were acquired directly from the digger's family. The buttons included are three general service eagle coat buttons, two infantry coat buttons and a New York state seal coat button. Two of the general service eagle buttons have damaged rims. The eagle plate is in good condition and retains a full complement of solder and both iron loops. The glass top display case, measuring approximately 5x6x3/4 inch, will be included. The items are held in place by the pressure of the glass top resting upon the items and the rear felt covered batting material. The case and its glass top are secured by straight pins on either side of the box. These relics will be an excellent display for any office, den, or family room, and will also be a great gift for the American history buff.
