Item: Flat Button - Eagle Back Mark
Backmark: Raised Eagle with Anchor in Shield
Construction: Flat, one-piece.
Approximate size: 18 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. This very solid button has a dusty green patina on its shank side with a mixed green-brown patina on its front. There are no bends, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Unknown
Comments: This button will be best displayed with the shank side facing up and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
