This excavated intact .44 caliber Henry rifle cartridge is in very good condition and was recovered in the area of City Point, VA. The brass casing now has a green patina with some encrusted soil but no cracks or breaks. This Henry cartridge was acquired directly from the digger, Robert Braswell, Jr. of Gaston, NC., who recovered many fine relics from both North Carolina and Virginia over several decades. Learn more about Robert and his relic detecting by clicking on his name above.
