Hotchkiss Type II Fuze Adaptor

This Hotchkiss type II time fuse adaptor is in excellent condition and was acquired directly from the digger who recovered it from New Market, VA. It is constructed of cast brass which has aged into a very nice dusty green patina. Its threads are in good condition. It is approximately 2.33 inches in length and its head diameter is approximately 1.16 inches and its thread diameter is approximately 1.03 inches. This fuze adaptor will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War artillery or general relic collection.
