Construction: Round, two-piece.
Approximate size: 18 mm.
Condition: Excellent, non-excavated, secure shank present. The button has an overall honey-brown patina with no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Comments: These buttons were used by the Zouave militia units and cadets. Learn about the Zouaves and their participation in the Civil War by clicking on the preceding highlighted link. This example will be an excellent addition to any Civil War button or general relic collection.
