Construction: High convex, three-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. Loaded with gilt. The rim is missing. No pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: November 3, 1973 Yorktown, VA area.
Reference: Tice: MG205C1 Albert: MG 4
Comments: An image of the digger's collection display label, indicating when and where the button was recovered and also pictured with a Michigan state seal cuff size example, is included in the additional images. This Michigan state seal coat button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
