Backmark: "HYDE & GOODRICH. / . N-O. ." rmdc
Design: A finely stippled raised five-pointed star with a depressed letter "A" in the center surrounded my MISSISSIPPI on a plain field.
Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 21 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. The button's smooth surface has an overall chocolate brown patina with gilt highlighting the star, letter "A" and the letters "MISSISSIPPI". The backmark is clearly visible. There are no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
