Item: North Carolina "Sunburst" Coat Button - Non-Excavated

Construction: Low convex, one-piece.
Design: Seven-pointed raised star on a stippled field with border. The raised letters "NC" found in the center are on a lined field within a raised ring.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Excellent, non-excavated, secure shank present. Very attractive dull copper patina. The raised "NC" in the lined center, surrounding rays, and stippled background are all visible. The button has no cracks, breaks, bends or repairs.

Comments: This NC sunburst button will be an excellent addition to any Civil War button or general relic collection.
