Approximate size: 57 x 87 mm.
Comments: This buckle was recovered by the late Glenn Trimmer of Virginia. Over the decades of relic hunting Glenn maintained two journals, listing and often describing in detail, information regarding the relic's recovery. This relic is listed in his second journal along with other items he found on that hunt. This page is included in the additional images. Because the journal pages may contain exact recovery locations and other personal information, some information has been removed for privacy purposes. A complete journal page copy will be included with its purchase. Read more about Glenn Trimmer and his relic hunting by clicking this link: Glenn Trimmer Collection.
This US waist belt buckle will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War buckle, plate, or general relic collection.
