Item: Federal .36 Caliber Pistol Bullet for Colt Navy Revolver
Condition: Very good, excavated, unfired. Smooth waxy surface with off white patina. One side of the bullet is marked with the numeral "499" in black ink (see Comments below).
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: .375 inch diameter, .607 inch length, 133.4.1 grains weight.

Comments: This example is from a very old bullet collection. The digger/collector identified and numbered each bullet with its corresponding McKee & Mason bullet reference number. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
