Item: Regimental Number "2" - Small Size
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, attachment device missing. Pleasing chocolate brown patina. Slightly concaved body. Mild edgewear. No repairs.
Recovered: Sailor's Creek, VA area.
Approximate size: 1/2 x 3/4-inch.

Comments: This regimental small size number "2" was acquired directly from the family of the husband-and-wife digging team and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War insignia or general relic collection.
