Bullet and Button Display - Petersburg Campaign

This Civil War display includes six different types of excavated bullets and a US general service "eagle" coat button all recovered from various areas of theĀ Petersburg, VA campaign and acquired directly from the relic hunter who kept detailed records of his finds. The bullets included (beginning at the top) are a Spencer carbine, Williams cleaner type III, Confederate Sharps carbine long, pistol carbine (Williams regulation), Sharps carbine, and a 3-ring bullet which are all listed and described on the rear of the display indicating the item, date, and location of recovery. A close up image of this list is included in the additional images to the left of this description. The six bullets and eagle coat button are nicely displayed and labeled in a 6-1/4(W) x 8-1/4(L) x 7/8(D) inch glass top display case which will be included. The items are held in place by the pressure of the glass top resting upon the items and the rear felt covered batting material. The case and its glass top are secured by straight pins on either side of the box. These bullets and button will be an excellent display for any office, den, or family room, and will also be a great gift for the American history buff.
