Item: Spencer Carbine Cartridge
Caliber: .52
Condition: Excellent, excavated, solid. The bullet portion has a grey-brown patina. Its brass cartridge casing has a brown patina. There is a tiny dent on one side of the cartridge but otherwise there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. It is not a "put-together".
Recovered: During the 1970s from the Petersburg, VA area.
Approximate size: .549 inch. diameter; 1.68 inch. length; 481 grains weight.

Comments: If you are looking for a solid example then this Spencer cartridge is for you. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet, cartridge, or general relic collection.
