Caliber: .52
Condition: Good, excavated. The bullet portion has moderate surface build-up as a result of ground action all over a grey-white patina. Its brass cartridge casing has a green-brown patina. There are splits in the upper portion of the cartridge as a result of expansion, again due to ground action. The bullet is still solidly connected to the cartridge. There are no dents or repairs. It is not a "put-together".
Recovered: Fredericksburg, VA area.
Approximate size: .555 inch. diameter; 1.67 inch. length; 476 grains weight.
