Umbrella Inkwell

SOLD

This excavated umbrella ink well has a light green coloring and is in excellent condition. It has a rolled lip and a pontil mark on the base. There are no cracks or repairs. It was recovered in the North Anna River area, Hanover County, VA by the late Glenn Trimmer. Glenn had this ink well displayed in a glass top hexagonal table in his family room along with rest of his finds. See this display table in the additional images. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
