Item: US Waist Belt Buckle - Arrow Type Hooks
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass with raised letters "US". Rear with solder fill and brass arrow belt attachment hooks.
Condition: Fair, excavated. Its brass front has a chocolate brown patina. A portion of the plate and rim are missing leaving a jagged edge. Rear solder is present supporting what remains of the brass front. All three hooks are present and secure. There are no repairs.
Recovered: Cedar Mountain, VA area.
Approximate size: 56 x 82 mm.

Comments: This buckle is for the collector that appreciates that "been there, done that" appearance. It will be an excellent addition to any Civil War buckle, plate, or general relic collection.
