US Model 1860 .44 Caliber Colt Army Revolver

This excavated US model 1860 .44 caliber Colt army revolver is fully loaded and in good solid condition. The iron is stable and its brass trigger guard is stamped with the serial number of 105,381 indicating that it was manufactured in 1863. It is complete with the exception of its wood grips, a portion of its main spring, and its trigger which appears to have rusted away. The hammer has partial movement and the loading lever is slightly loose. Bullet tips are visible in all six cylinder chambers. A slight field modification to the sight appears to have been made. This excavated relic Army Colt revolver will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War battlefield, weapon, revolver, or general relic collection.
