Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, shank missing. There is a significant push to the face but it has no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Comments: These buttons were well made and this example, though not perfect, has some gilt still remaining. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
