Confederate .69 Caliber "Shallow Base" Gardner Bullet

This HUGE excavated Confederate .69 caliber shallow base Gardner bullet is in very good condition and was recovered in Shiloh, TN. This nice example is basically flawless with the exception of the dark discoloration in one area. The rest of the bullet has a very pleasing white-white patina and a visible mold seam. Check out the enlarged pictures by clicking on the thumbnail image to the left. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any Civil War bullet or general relic collection. Approx. .688 inch diameter and 1.16 inch length.
