Item: Confederate One Hundred Dollar Note - 1862 - T-41
Date: August 20, 1862
Printer: Keatinge & Ball, Columbia, S.C.
Design: The front shows slaves weeding cotton with US Vice President John C. Calhoun to the left and Confederacy personified at right. The note is hand numbered and signed. It is watermarked in script letters "CSA" visible on rear image. The rear is blank.
Approximate size: 3-1/8 x 7-3/16 inches.
Condition: Good. The paper is crisp with one tiny pinhole and nearly complete borders. The rear has three rectangular "Interest Paid To" stamps along with handwritten figures at one end. I believe this note would be graded as "Extremely Fine" if it weren't for the tiny pin hole.

Comments: This Confederate note will be delivered in a clear display sleeve and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War note or general relic collection.
