Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 15 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, shank missing. Ample gilt remains nicely highlighting the three classical pillars and arch with rays. No pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: Dumfries, VA area.
Reference: Tice: GA206As2 Albert: GA 4
Comments: This pretty Georgia cuff button would nicely complement another Georgia state seal coat size button with similar gilt coverage. It will be an excellent display piece to add to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
