Medical Tourniquet Adjuster - Stamped "Tiemann"

Item: Medical Tourniquet Adjuster - Stamped "Tiemann"
Construction: Brass
Use: Medical device to adjust a tourniquet. 
Approximate size: 1-3/16-inch diameter; 1-1/2-inch length.
Condition: Fair, excavated. Device is bent such that it has the shape of a parallelogram. The central bar and a couple of tangs or teeth are missing. The manufacturer's stamp of "Tiemann" is stamped on one side. No repairs.
Recovered: A Virginia recovery according to a tag.
